Breaking: Bola Tinubu Wins Nigeria's highly Disputed Presidential Election
Considered the 'Godfather' set to rule Nigeria, the ruling party's candidate Bola Tinubu has won the election in Nigeria.
This outcome is a major blow to the youth who rallied behind Peter Obi who is a much younger opponent. Peter led a vibrant campaign which won the hearts of many youths.

70-year-old Tinubu got 36% of the vote,.
His main rival Atiku Abubakar polled 29%, and Labour's Peter Obi popular with the youth got 25%.

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo who is regarded by some as one of the best former presidents of Nigeria was quoted saying that the elections have failed the integrity test and as a result, they should be annulled.
Despite the high concerns of rigging, Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has issued a statement stating that: "Results emanating from the states point to a free, fair and credible process. The 2023 general election processes are in their final stages of completion."
Peter Obi the presidential candidate for the Labour Party has indicated that the matter will go to court. It remains to be seen what will happen next. What evidence will be presented before the court? Will the judiciary that is allegedly captured take seriously the concerns of the opposition? Only time will tell.
